Attendee Justification

The US/Canada Border Conference brings border security leadership from the U.S. and Canada together to provide an educational experience designed to help advance your agency’s mission. The conference is developed by former border security officials who understand the educational needs of today’s border security professionals. View the Advisory Board here.

This two-day event, focused on advancing the Beyond the Border Action Plan, is strategically located in Detroit, Michigan, near several of the busiest shared ports between the United States and Canada. We have arranged for several hotels to provide government per diem rates, and the conference registration fee for government attendees is just $98, including two days of educational meetings, vitally important networking events, luncheons, and the Salute to Fallen Heroes Memorial Ceremony.

It is mission critical for staff to keep up to date on the latest techniques, tools and technologies available to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently, and to gain this information in a cost-effective manner. We are committed to providing quality education, and a highly productive experience, leading to actionable steps government attendees can implement once they return to their jobs.
